Eligible individuals may receive up to 22 funded counselling hours through the NSW Victims Support Scheme.
Who Can Access Support?
Young People & Adults (16+)
Individual counselling focused on emotional safety, trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, confidence, boundaries and rebuilding everyday life.
Children (0–15)
Children can have their own Victims Support application and counselling approval, separate from their parent or caregiver.
Counselling is parent and caregiver-focused, supporting children's recovery through emotional regulation, therapeutic parenting, attachment, safety and connection.
A parent, caregiver or legal guardian must be actively involved.
Important: Each eligible person, including children, requires their own application. Parents and caregivers may also qualify for separate counselling support.
